Project overview
How is RAK Central Square shaping Ras Al Khaimah’s future?
Ras Al Khaimah is strengthening its position as a leading destination in the UAE. This is supported through the development of RAK Central, a landmark mixed-use development. The complex project aims to drive economic growth and support the Emirate’s Vision 2030.
Spanning 3.1mn sqft, the development will combine commercial, residential, hospitality, retail and leisure facilities to create a vibrant community that attracts global businesses.
RAK Central Square will include the Northern Emirates's largest commercial business district, which spans an impressive 1mn sqft of commercial office space across five interconnected buildings, each with 10-12 floors.
Highlights
project story
How are we supporting economic growth in Ras Al Khaimah?
We were appointed by Marjan and RAKEZ to provide project management services for RAK Central Square. This includes the infrastructure and build of five mid-rise towers as part of the main business complex, featuring a podium parking structure with a prominent canopy to link each side of development.
The development also includes the new headquarters of the master developer, Marjan and RAKEZ, as well as public realm areas. Each office floor within the buildings will provide dynamic spaces and flexible modular workspaces. It will benefit from access to daylight and views through floor-to-ceiling curtain walls, as well as outdoor areas to boost wellbeing and productivity.
In the early stages of the project, we've taken on a leadership role, creating structure, role clarity and providing advice to multiple stakeholders on behalf of the client. By aligning all parties involved and simplifying complex project information, we have provided the client with clear, actionable intelligence supporting transparency as the project progresses.
Contributing to Ras Al Khaimah’s Vision 2030
Marjan and RAKEZ envision RAK Central Square to be a key contribution to the ongoing economic growth of the Northern Emirate and is aligned to Ras Al Khaimah’s Vision 2030.
Aiming to attract over three million annual visitors and to become a regional leader in sustainable tourism, the development seeks to cement both Marjan and RAKEZ’s reputation as a key developer in the Emirate.
RAK Central Square will follow advanced green building strategies and sustainability principles through both design and construction, aiming to achieve LEED Gold Certification.
The development will also harness advanced technology and digital solutions, including AI. This will create a state-of-the-art development that will set new standards within the UAE.
