Project overview

Creating a world-class education experience

Misk Schools was developed by Misk Schools Company to provide an exceptional private education for students aged four to 18. Spanning a 21-hectare campus, the project encompasses 12 state-of-the-art school buildings designed to support a comprehensive learning journey from kindergarten through to senior school.

The facilities include advanced spaces for science, technology, engineering, design, creativity, performance and leadership development. The campus is also home to extensive sporting amenities, such as football pitches, golf facilities, equestrian centres and swimming pools.

This SAR2bn initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering educational excellence and nurturing future leaders.

project story

Delivering cost and commercial certainty

We were appointed to provide end-to-end cost and commercial management capabilities for this landmark project. Our responsibilities encompassed diligent budget oversight, meticulous management of awarded works, prompt processing of payment certificates and detailed monthly cost reporting.

We proactively managed variations, ensuring that any potential changes were assessed and communicated in advance to facilitate informed decision-making. Our team maintained a consistent on-site presence, enabling real-time collaboration with the client and contractors to ensure the project adhered to its financial and scheduling objectives.

Furthermore, the monthly cost report we developed and refined during our commission became the benchmark for other projects. This was ultimately adopted across the Misk City programme, underscoring our commitment to delivering lasting value.

Promoting sustainability and community enrichment

Environmental responsibility and sustainability were prioritised in the meticulous design process of Misk Schools’ campus, which features eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient systems and green spaces that promote environmental stewardship among students.

Notably, the ‘farm to table’ initiative encourages local agriculture and healthy eating habits, fostering a culture of sustainability within the school community. The project has also significantly contributed to the local economy by creating numerous job opportunities for professionals in construction, education and administration.

By integrating modern architectural aesthetics with cultural significance, Misk Schools offers spaces that cultivate a sense of belonging and well-being, thereby enriching the broader community.
