Unique proposition
AW Jewel Pty Ltd is developing an innovative 5-star complex on the beach front, which will be Australia’s largest hotel and residential complex. The three towers feature 510 residential apartments, a 169-room international resort hotel, restaurants, conference and meeting facilities.
Project management from planning to construction
We are acting as project manager on all aspects of the project. We assembled a highly experienced team and embedded it to work side-by-side with the client at the construction site. We were able to guide and advise the client through the initial design and planning approval stages, the tender stage for the engagement of building contractors, and the detailed design and construction stages.
The structures have now been constructed and the residential apartments and hotel guest rooms have been completed. Residents are now starting to live in the new owner apartments, which have achieved a 5-star Green Star design rating. The final stage of works involves fitting out the hotel facilities and restaurants which is aimed for completion in the new year.
Local jobs
At its peak, the project involved more than 1,000 construction personnel on site and a monthly spend of AU$30m at peak, creating sustained employment for local consultants and contractors as well as substantial business and economic benefits for local, intra-state, inter-state and overseas suppliers, businesses and contractors.
When fully completed, the project is expected to employ more than 300 personnel directly as well as provide a substantial boost to the Gold Coast economy.
