PRESS RELEASE
Turner & Townsend, the global programme management company, has been appointed to Lot 3 of The Crown Estate’s Sustainability Framework, providing climate, nature and social finance and investment advisory services across its diverse urban, rural and marine estate.
The framework, which runs until 2030, will support The Crown Estate in advancing its sustainability ambitions, including net zero carbon, nature recovery and thriving communities, by embedding environmental, social and economic considerations into strategic decision-making and investment planning.
Through the appointment, Turner & Townsend will provide specialist advisory services across climate finance, carbon markets, natural capital investment, nature-based solution and social and economic investment.
The appointment further strengthens Turner & Townsend’s sustainability services and builds on its longstanding relationship with The Crown Estate, a key client for the business. The framework will provide opportunities to support projects and programmes that contribute to nature recovery and biodiversity enhancement across England, creating lasting benefits for local communities and future generations.
“The biggest sustainability challenges cannot be solved in isolation. They require climate, nature and community outcomes to be considered together, supported by innovative approaches to investment and delivery.
“The Crown Estate has a unique ability to influence this agenda at scale, and we are excited to be partnering with them to help shape projects and investments that leave a positive legacy for future generations.”
