Turner & Townsend has been appointed as a supplier on the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) Energy and Net Zero Professional Services (ENZPS) Framework.
Turner & Townsend will act as lead supplier across four of seven framework lots, the maximum number attainable, and will support two additional lots as part of a WSP-led consortium.
As a lead supplier, Turner & Townsend has been awarded to Lot 1 which focuses on nuclear energy and includes all four service areas: policy & strategy, change & transformation, energy design & delivery and enterprise & innovation. For Lot 2, covering renewables, Turner & Townsend will offer three service areas: policy & strategy, change & transformation and energy design & delivery.
Similarly, Turner & Townsend will be a lead supplier on Lot 5, focusing on oil, gas and electricity, as well as Lot 7, which addresses industrial transformation. Both lots include responsibilities for policy & strategy, change & transformation and energy design & delivery.
In addition to its lead role, Turner & Townsend will work with WSP as part of an ecosystem supporting Lot 3, which centres on hydrogen for heating, and Lot 4, dedicated to heat networks.
These appointments place Turner & Townsend at the forefront of efforts to drive the UK’s energy transition, supporting critical sectors such as nuclear, renewables, transmission and distribution, industrial decarbonisation and both conventional and low carbon energy.
