PRESS RELEASE
Turner & Townsend, the global programme management company, has been appointed to all Lots of Transport for London’s Professional Services Frameworks 3 (PSF3), reinforcing the consultancy’s longstanding relationship with one of the UK’s most significant transport operators and supporting the continued delivery of a safe, sustainable and inclusive transport network for the capital.
The PSF3 framework plays a vital role in enabling Transport for London (TfL) to deliver its ambitious capital programme and strategic objectives, including its commitment to sustainability, inclusivity and productivity. Through this three-year framework, Turner & Townsend will provide a comprehensive range of professional services such as project, programme and portfolio management, programme office and project controls, risk management, project and programme assurance, cost and commercial management and procurement.
TfL’s capital delivery programme sits at the forefront of driving a greener transport agenda for the capital, with ambitions to achieve net-zero carbon emissions within the timeframe of this three-year framework. Aside from the delivery of major pipeline programmes such as the Bakerloo Line Extension and the DLR Extension to Beckton Riverside and Thamesmead, TfL aims for 80% of all journeys to be made by public, sustainable means by 2041.
Since 2022, Turner & Townsend has supported TfL under a previous framework, contributing to the capital delivery programme and providing managed services on major schemes such as the Piccadilly Line Upgrade.
“This appointment continues our long‑standing partnership with Transport for London at a critical time for the capital’s transport network and the capital’s growth through to 2030.
“We are proud to be supporting TfL with our full breadth of programme, project and commercial expertise to help deliver complex infrastructure programmes that improve connectivity, drive decarbonisation and create lasting value for Londoners.”
