PRESS RELEASE
Turner & Townsend, the global programme management company, has been appointed to London Legacy Development Corporation’s (LLDC) Inclusive Growth Framework, supporting the continued growth and development of East London and helping to deliver long-term benefits for local communities.
Appointed to Lot 7, Sustainability Services, on the eight-year Inclusive Growth Framework, Turner & Townsend will support LLDC and its partners with sustainability and climate resilience advisory services across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the wider area. This includes helping clients assess climate risks, identify opportunities to reduce carbon emissions and develop projects that create lasting environmental, social and economic value.
The framework supports the continued development of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and surrounding communities, building on the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It brings together specialist organisations to help deliver projects that support communities, improve places and drive sustainable growth across east London.
"We are delighted to be appointed to London Legacy Development Corporation's Inclusive Growth Framework.
“Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park demonstrates what can be achieved through long-term investment, collaboration and a clear vision for communities. As organisations look to balance growth ambitions with climate commitments, sustainability has an increasingly important role to play in shaping places that are resilient, inclusive and built for the future.
“We look forward to working with LLDC and its partners to help embed sustainability into decision-making, support positive environmental outcomes and contribute to the continued success of east London."

Director and Head of Sustainability, UK
