Turner & Townsend, the global professional services company, has been appointed to the Ports of Jersey (POJ) Professional Services Framework, supporting POJ’s long-term business plan and major capital projects across both the harbour and its airport estates.
Under the two-year framework, which runs until 31 December 2027, POJ will have access to a broad range of specialist expertise to advance a portfolio of programmed and imminent project works.
Having demonstrated its multidisciplinary expertise across other impactful infrastructure programmes, Turner & Townsend has been selected for six lots: Health & Safety Project Coordinator (Lot 1), Health & Safety Advisory Services (Lot 2), Project Management (Lot 3), Commercial Management (Lot 5), Risk Management (Lot 6) and Scheduling Support (Lot 9).
Following on from its work delivered to POJ in early 2025, the global professional services company will provide integrated cost and commercial management, project management and controls and performance services. This includes project managers, schedulers, planners and cost estimators who will work closely with POJ teams to improve processes and delivery across the programme.
POJ’s investment programme plays a vital role in supporting the island’s connectivity and economic resilience, with planned projects directly benefiting passengers, local communities and the wider supply chain.
“We’re delighted to be appointed to the Ports of Jersey Professional Services Framework. This is a significant opportunity to bring our integrated commercial, controls and project management expertise to a portfolio that is vital to the island’s future.”
“Our teams are already fully aligned with POJ’s ambition to strengthen delivery performance, something which is fully supported by our bespoke data and benchmarking capability.”
“We look forward to working in partnership with POJ to help deliver these vital improvements across both estates.”
