Australia business wins at the RICS Australia Awards 2023
We have been named Quantity Surveying Team of the Year at the 2023 Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Australia Awards and have received a ‘Highly Commended’ award for Project Management Team of the Year.
The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They recognise outstanding achievements within the industry where individuals and teams uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in both built and natural environments.
This year’s awards were announced in Sydney in early September, with our Australia business receiving the following two awards:
Quantity Surveying Team of the Year – Salesforce Tower, Sydney
Our Sydney team were instrumental in the delivery of the 13-floor fit-out of the new Salesforce Tower with option studies for a further seven floors leased by Salesforce.
The tower includes a specialist high-tech ‘Salesforce Innovation Centre’, as well as three ‘Ohana’ floors – Salesforce’s innovative social value areas dedicated to giving back to employees and the community, providing non-profit organisations with the opportunity to host free events.
The iconic 54-floor tower is LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certified and is setting the standard for sustainable office space in Australia with employee wellbeing as its heart.
‘Highly Commended’ award for Project Management Team of the Year - EastCo Development, Melbourne
EastCo Development is an 11-storey A-Grade commercial tower accommodating 1,000 employees in Ringwood, Melbourne. We were the project managers of the development on behalf of Queensland Investment Corporation and Department of Transport and Planning.
The development has achieved a 5-star Greenstar Self Assessed rating and a 6-star ‘World Leadership’ Greenstar rating for the fit-out and is currently on track to achieving a 5-star NABERS energy and 4-star NABERS water target rating.
