Appointed on world-class Sydney Metro project
We're proud to be providing Project Management Office (PMO) services on the once-in-a-century Sydney Metro West project. The PMO contract follows a successful working partnership with the New South Wales (NSW) government’s Sydney Metro authority on the now operational Sydney Metro Northwest line.
Sydney Metro West brings a world-class metro rail line to the city’s west. It is the largest part of the multi-billion Sydney Metro network, which is Australia’s largest public transport project.
The project is planning to deliver about 24 kilometres of twin underground tunnels between Westmead and the Sydney CBD, linking new communities to rail services which will service 3.2 million people living in Western Sydney by 2036.

Sydney Metro West will connect Greater Parramatta with the Sydney CBD and will double the rail capacity of this current rail corridor with a travel time target between the two centres of about 20 minutes.

Our PMO services include capital cost planning, risk management, schedule management and operating and maintenance cost planning.
The formal planning process has now begun, including confirmation of new metro station locations at Westmead, Parramatta, Sydney Olympic Park, North Strathfield, Burwood North, Five Dock and The Bays Precinct.
