Success at the MOD Information and Digital Excellence awards
The Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Digital Office 365 Build Programme, which we supported the delivery of through our Equinox joint venture, has been recognised for 'Exemplary practice in Information Management' at the Ministry of Defence’s Information and Digital Excellence awards.
To date, the Digital Office 365 Build Programme has delivered new collaboration, information and records management tools to 178 of more than 260 Domain teams across DE&S in the form of Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint. This has been supported by a full suite of technical training, communications and stakeholder engagements to promote early adoption and embedding.
Business teams within DE&S will reap the rewards and benefits of this work for years to come and the programme team will continue to help them fully understand how good information and records management can and will impact directly to improve their deliveries.
The Information and Digital Excellence awards recognise hard work and collaboration of the programme and business teams in the MOD to successfully deliver across a large organisation and to challenge and change perceptions, delivering real change.
Our role was to help shape the Digital Office 365 Build Programme from its early stages into a deliverable and achievable state that was acceptable to the senior management and the business who are key to delivery.
We provided DE&S’ team with dedicated, professional and specialist skills and knowledge from a programme management perspective to help make the programme a real success and of benefit to the organisation.
