Nurturing a green vision

Conceived as the new green heart of Riyadh, the King Salman Park site will cover 16.7 sq km. With 12 sq km of open space, the park will be home to an array of major cultural and recreational amenities. These include the Royal Arts Complex, the national theatre, museums, a golf course, an equestrian centre and an 8,000-seat outdoor theatre.

Located northeast of the city centre, the park will be the cornerstone of Riyadh’s National Capital Area comprising the city’s historic core, the royal court and the diplomatic quarter. A sustainable public-transport-oriented development, the park will be served by five new metro stations and 10 bus rapid transit stations.

Driving efficiency and long-term value

We were appointed by the King Salman Park Foundation to provide cost management services for this multibillion-dollar project. Our role as executive cost manager covers all the development’s assets, from the park itself and its buildings, through to landscaping, roads, tunnels and key infrastructure.

Our services include budget development and management, cost control, cost estimating, value engineering, procurement and contract administration, right through to the preparation of final accounts.

Building a legacy

A green oasis at the heart of Riyadh and the nation, King Salman Park supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to create a vibrant and healthy society. One of four megadevelopments currently underway in the city, King Salman Park is of strategic importance to Riyadh’s economic growth and is estimated to create thousands of skilled jobs. On completion, the project will be a milestone in fulfilling a key goal of Vision 2030: promoting Riyadh’s position in the world’s top 100 most livable cities.
