I’ve spent almost my entire career at CBRE, advising investors and occupiers on everything from technical risks and liabilities to value-driven solutions. Now, as UK Head of Project Management and Global Head of Building Consultancy at Turner & Townsend, I’m fortunate to lead a talented and diverse team of professionals.
We bring together unique skills and technical expertise to guide our clients through complex transactions and development projects, while also shaping successful asset management strategies.
I started out at Legal & General before moving to Richard Ellis – which later became CBRE. Over the past 30+ years, I’ve led teams across the UK, Europe and the US to help grow building consultancy into a globally recognised capability. Along the way, I’ve been lucky enough to work on some incredible projects.
What really drives me is developing teams, supporting the next generation of talent and making sure we’re delivering real value for our clients. I’m genuinely excited about the opportunities ahead – combining the expertise and talent of Turner & Townsend and CBRE Project Management to deliver even more for our clients around the world.

Q. What do you enjoy most about your job?
A. Without a doubt, it’s the people. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry, both within our own teams and on the client side.
That collaboration is what makes the job so rewarding. I also really enjoy mentoring – there’s nothing better than seeing someone you’ve supported go on to do great things.
Q. What are some of your career highlights?
A. A couple that stand out are helping deliver a London hospital during the pandemic and advising a German investment fund on their forward-funded purchase of a shopping centre in Barcelona. That project was particularly memorable – it involved an underground carpark and a long diaphragm wall to keep out the neighbouring sea.
Q. What advice would you give to someone starting in the industry?
A. I’d say, build strong relationships and keep track of the people you meet because you never know where they’ll end up. Some of the people I started with are now leading major organisations, and those connections have been invaluable throughout my career.
Q. How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
A. I’m a big golfer and an Arsenal season ticket holder, so you’ll often find me at the Emirates or on the course. My wife enjoys the theatre and cinema, and we love to go out for a meal together when we can. I’m also a bass player and have been known to perform with our building consultancy band, AC/BC.
