In my role as Senior Cost Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the cost of construction projects from initiation to completion. I handle a variety of tasks related to estimating, planning, procurement, value engineering and reporting. This is so I can effectively advise clients on the commercial aspects of their projects and collaborate with other consultants at different stages of a project lifecycle.
I have worked on a diverse range of projects across different sectors and sizes. These include education, car showrooms, and corporate office fit-outs schemes, as well as alteration works to a shopping mall and work on a large-scale airport programmes.
Having an understanding of different clients and project types has been invaluable for me in my career, providing me with learning opportunities which have informed how I can support my clients more effectively.
