Turner & Townsend in New Zealand
Bringing an integrated approach to support world-class ambitions
Over the last 30 years New Zealand has transitioned to a free-market economy with low regulations. Following the financial crisis recovery has been led by exports, with relatively strong Government accounts and a well-capitalised banking system providing a stable base. Government investment is focussed on building world-class infrastructure and better public services.
Making the difference in New Zealand
We established a presence in New Zealand in 2010 and have since secured significant roles on the Christchurch Hospital redevelopment and City Rail Link. Working from offices in Auckland and Christchurch, we support high-value projects and programmes in New Zealand across the health, education, banking, technology and infrastructure sectors.
We bring a combination of local market knowledge together with our expertise from working on some of the world’s largest real estate, infrastructure and natural resources programmes. Our New Zealand capability consists of project directors and managers that bring insights from diverse, yet related, industry professions such as engineering, architecture, finance, quantity surveying, nursing and health service management.
This integrated approach helps create value through specialist consultancy assignments and with experienced infrastructure experts at all stages of the project life-cycle from health service planning to operational commissioning.
