Relocating and expanding Philips Bangalore Innovation Hub

One of four global innovation hubs, the Bangalore campus has been expanded and relocated to accommodate market-driven demand for innovation in Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East and Turkey, furthering the digital transformation of healthcare.

Our India business has completed move management services for Philips, who tasked our team with relocating its Bangalore Innovation Hub from Manyata Tech Park in Nagawara to its new campus in Yelahanka on Bangalore Airport Road, renowned for its vibrant ecosystem of technology and innovation.

The move totalled 40,000 assets, comprising of approximately 5,200 employees, 54 laboratories, and four data centres spread across 170 diverse teams. The relocation was driven by Philip’s business trajectory over the past 18 years, outgrowing its original campus and necessitating a more expansive space to power its initiatives.

As part of the company’s expansion plans, the new campus is set to streamline operations and enhance collaboration among teams. This will help create a more conducive environment to accelerate innovation and provide health technology propositions and digital solutions for emerging and developed markets, particularly in radiology, cardiology, oncology, and peri-natal care.

A comprehensive move management plan was implemented to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations, allowing the hub to fully open at the new campus in early 2024.
