project overview
A new HQ in an extraordinary timeframe
After 30 years, Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) was moving into a new statement HQ. By collaborating with their team to design the office while the building was still under construction, we sidestepped delays, cut through complexity, and helped the legal giants move in just six months after construction.

On time and on track
Following an extensive search, NRF became the flagship tenant of 1550 Lamar, kickstarting a new era in the company’s operations.
With NRF installed as the namesake tenant, we worked alongside the brokerage team to include milestones and delay clauses in the lease, safeguarding NRF in the event of any delays in the developer’s schedule.
A plan comes together
Throughout construction, we collaborated with the NRF’s design team to align on details like their internal stair, optimizing coordination during the building’s development. We also provided several budget alternatives, including significant value engineering opportunities to guarantee the project looked great while remaining budget conscious.
By developing timelines and smooth working relationships, we were able to accomplish the project in an extraordinary timeline – above expectations and well within budget.
After this successful project, NRF is now building out another floor within the tower. Working with the team again has been a great success and we look forward to opening another floor in the summer of 2026.
