Known as the land of a thousand hills, Rwanda is a landlocked country in the Great Rift Valley of East Africa. Its capital city is Kigali which is the hub of government and commercial activity.

Rwanda is ranked by the World Bank as one of the easiest countries to do business within Africa. The country is strategically positioning itself as the destination of choice in the region for education, innovation and tourism; as a result, industrial and logistics, corporate and office, residential and hotel sectors are growing to meet the demand.

Rwanda has a population of approximately 13 million people, 17.5 percent of whom live in urban areas. Greater urbanisation is key to Rwanda’s pursuit to achieve middle income country status. This accelerated urbanisation coupled with strong economic growth and demographic changes has also led to rapid growth in real estate.
