I'm a trained architect with an MSc in construction project management from Loughborough University in the UK. I attained chartered surveyor (MRICS) status in May 2012. I worked in the UK for ten years prior to relocating to India. I have 17 years’ overall experience in corporate interior fit-outs, real estate, residential, education and health sectors.
Q. How do you contribute to Turner & Townsend making a difference?
A. Our culture aims at make sure that everyone of us at Turner & Townsend is committed to making the difference in every aspect of their work – whether that is through adding value to clients, or providing internal support services.
Sharing the goals of our client and helping them to design and build their assets the right way; quality driven in our outputs, focusing on the needs of our clients, lessons learned from our projects and continuously improving the quality of our service and leading by example with a committed team is the way I believe I have made a difference.
Q. What is the emerging trend in your industry specialism and how are you responding to this?
A. The industry is moving towards digitalisation, automation, and innovative ways of working, and at the same time simplifying the way in which we do business. Clients are looking at one stop shop solutions from consultants and we are working towards embracing this change. Our structured technical training in Asia is equipping our people with the right skills and knowledge to move in this direction.
Q. How do you see your career progressing at Turner & Townsend?
A. My peers placed their trust and confidence in me and provided excellent, challenging opportunities that have supported my career aspirations and growth within the business. Working for a consultancy like Turner & Townsend has provided a unique, dynamic and collaborative environment that has kept me on my toes to think, act and do things differently in a way that we can make the difference.
My past four years with the company have opened many new opportunities and I can see myself scaling new heights in my career in future.
