It’s been a great journey so far with plenty of opportunities to develop my career and be involved in shaping the future of our business.Bon Jovi Sabug
I’ve been in the industry for nine years and was involved in various sectors across many regions. These include the Broomfield Hospital in the UK, Qatar Petroleum HQ in Qatar, Stadium Sportshub in Singapore, PMO for Standard Chartered Bank in Asia Pacific and the HQ office for Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong. I’ve also completed the Asia Talent Programme and now appointed as a mentor and ATP champion for South East Asia. I’m honoured to be part of Chairman’s Group for 2018/19 and proud of the achievements in delivering the key challenges throughout the year. I am also excited to be the Occupier sector lead for Asia, which enables me to be involved in strengthening our position in the market.
Q. Which project are you most proud of being involved in at Turner & Townsend?
A. Being the Programme Management Office lead and key account manager for Barclays in Asia-Pacific has been a key highlight. I’m grateful to be given this opportunity to strengthen our relationship with our major key client globally and deliver the best programme/projects across key markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and Sydney.
Q. What do you most enjoy most about working at Turner & Townsend?
A. I enjoy working with a talented group of professionals that are passionate and creative, who are also fun to socialise with outside of work. I also take pride in working for prestigious clients who value our contributions, industry intelligence and core capabilities.
Q. What is the emerging trend in your industry specialism and how are you responding to this?
A. The Occupier sector has seen steady growth in South East Asia, particularly the rise of tech firms within the industry and increasing demand in co-working spaces. Many financial institutions are also in the process of relocating and densifying their office space as they re-align their corporate strategies. I’m currently supporting Barclays in optimising their current asset portfolio and developing long term strategies to deliver the best business outcomes for the bank.
