Supporting black industrialists to build successful businesses.

We are supporting the launch of the South African Department of Trade, Industry and Competition’s (DTIC) Black Industrialist Programme with our three-year programme to assist a group of industrialists in building competitive and sustainable businesses in the current challenging economic climate.

The new programme will support industrial manufacturers in critical areas of development including access to markets, particularly outside of South Africa or in the private sector, as well as contract knowledge, market awareness, and identification of partners to leverage or gain business opportunities. The programme provides advisory support across marketing, business generation and finance.

We will use our global knowledge and networks to help companies within the industrial, mining, infrastructure, high-tech and energy sectors expand their footprint and business locally and internationally.

Developing businesses globally

This work builds on our previous Black Business Entrepreneurs Empowerment programme, which ran for ten years and created more than 1,000 jobs.

Through this new programme, we are helping more black South Africans and black-owned companies and expect to see job creation over and above the levels previously achieved.

Across the world, our pro bono work and support of SMEs is growing. Whether it is our supplier diversity programme in the USA or our sustainability advisory team enabling SMEs to address their environmental footprint in the UK, we are using our expertise to develop businesses.
