Turner & Townsend strengthens its Asia leadership team
Turner & Townsend, the global professional services company, has appointed two senior leaders to support its growth and expansion in Asia. Jonathan Baker joins as Managing Director, Energy and Infrastructure and Alex Katsanos as Head of Advisory across the region.
Joining from Mott Macdonald, Jonathan Baker brings over 30 years of global leadership experience to Turner & Townsend and will be based in Singapore. Career to date, he has advised clients across multiple sectors including advanced manufacturing, defence, industrial, nuclear, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, ports, power, transportation and water.
At Turner & Townsend, he will drive complex major programme capture and delivery for public and private clients across Asia. Jonathan holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Association for Cost Engineering and Project Management (FACostE).
Seated in Hong Kong, Alex has over 25 years of consulting experience advising both public and private sector companies across operations and infrastructure spanning East Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa. He brings experience in policy, transformation, operational improvement, capital planning, smart cities, digital strategy and procurement excellence.
Alex will focus on accelerating the growth of Turner & Townsend’s advisory business in Asia by strengthening its support to governments, investors and asset owners across the region. Alex holds a PhD and is a Policy Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
