Marcel Langeslag appointed to lead Turner & Townsend’s aviation business in Europe
Turner & Townsend, the global professional services company, has appointed Marcel Langeslag as its new regional lead for aviation in Europe. His hire highlights the company’s commitment to expanding its aviation business across the region and leveraging its global expertise to support clients in delivering major programmes and optimising existing assets.
Based in Munich, Marcel has 16 years of international aviation experience, spanning airport master planning, infrastructure design, transaction advisory and sustainability strategy.
He has led multi-disciplinary teams on projects at major airports including Changi, Madrid Barajas, King Abdulaziz and Schiphol and has advised clients on development planning, operational optimisation and investment strategy.
Most recently, Marcel held senior roles at NACO (Netherlands Airport Consultants), where he led its aviation advisory practice and spearheaded business development across Africa.
Turner & Townsend has over 25 years of global experience in the aviation sector, supporting clients in planning, expanding, upgrading and operating airport infrastructure to drive performance, efficiency and resilience. This includes supporting clients to enhance passenger experience and capacity through refurbishment and optimisation programmes.
