Our contribution

We are responsible for the project supervision of three tunnel sections (SBT1.1, SBT2.1 and SBT3.1) in respect to the cost efficiency and effectiveness for the implementation phase of the aforementioned projects.

Turner & Townsend also advises the ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG in both technical and financial respects. The fields of activity include project organisation, scheduling and cost tracking, quotation as well as additional costs audits, risk management and the cost reduction programmes. We provide key advice right from the start so that the client can implement our recommendations immediately to reduce and/or prevent possible risks and additional costs.

Making the difference

We will bring extensive knowledge and expertise to the work assignments encompassed within the Semmering base tunnel, supporting ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG in the professional implementation of the project with our best practice methods. Using a modern online reporting system allows us access to all data relevant to the project and facilitates easy analysis and insight-sharing.
