The ambitious City Walk spans 10 million square feet, providing an ultimate lifestyle experience with a unique mix of luxury residential blocks, innovative retail, upscale gourmet outlets, entertainment, healthcare and hospitality facilities.
This refreshingly low-rise complex of over 30 buildings features 350 meters of uninterrupted retail frontage.
Inspired by tree-lined walks surrounding European landmarks, City Walk takes urban living to a whole new level; providing a cosy, vibrant and relaxed living environment at the heart of this neighbourhood in Dubai.
Turner & Townsend’s scope included provision of cost and commercial management services on 34 residential buildings with a total GFA of 432,000m2. Services were provided from inception to completion, i.e. from early concept design to final accounts closure, and they were tailored to match bespoke and evolving client requirements.
Making the difference
We mobilised a cost and commercial management team with the right skills to effectively deliver the commission. Every individual deployed to support the scheme had extensive cost and commercial management experience on regional residential schemes. More importantly, every individual had the right set of personal skills allowing the team to drive efficiencies and bring rigour to the process.
Right from the outset we were committed to developing, nurturing and maintaining a dynamic and healthy relationship with the client, consultants and contractor. By building upon mutual collaboration, the project was delivered in line with the agreed completion date and budget.
