Client’s requirements
Makers District spans across an approximate area of 18 hectares.
The district combines contemporary urban living with distinctive design in an effort to create an environment that cultivates creativity and invigorates culture within the UAE.
Makers District’s Phase 1 is a mixed-use waterfront development with over 1,000 residential units, 11,000 square metres of commercial and retail space. It also includes reclamation and marine works.
However, the soul of the projects is The-Artery a multi-use building that integrates makers space with a parking garage. The double helix structure has a central atrium that can be utilised as an events space.

Turner & Townsend have been appointed as cost consultants to provide cost and commercial management support on this iconic project.
