Client's requirement

Fraport is a leading airport operator with interests in airports all over the world. It is currently investing in the expansion of Lima International Airport, a principal gateway to South America and one of the region’s busiest airports, to accommodate a continuing rise in passenger and aircraft numbers.

Over the past ten years the airport has more than tripled its volume of passengers and doubled its aircraft movements, and further strong growth is forecast.

The 1.5bn dollar expansion project is designed to meet future demand in excess of 35m passengers per year and incorporates a second runway system and related airfield infrastructure, a new control tower and a new midfield terminal.

Our contribution

We were appointed technical advisor to the expansion project in 2017. Our advisory service addresses engineering, procurement and construction of the expansion project, and the compilation of employer requirements, project agreements and cost management services.
