Driving growth in the Nordics real estate market.Nima Aase
I moved to Sweden in 2016, and we made the decision to set up a legal entity in 2017. Unlike other offices that are set up based on a large commission, I moved across to support on a 300m2 fit-out and 2 months of fee.
We announced to our global clients that we were in region, and won 15 competitive bids for office fit-outs. We’re now expanding our service offerings, entering into new markets and expanding through the Nordics!
Q. What do you most enjoy most about working at Turner & Townsend?
A. I enjoy the fact that even though we are a global consultancy, there is a positive energy in all our offices. The company culture nurtures ambition and promotes collaboration. While this is the core of many organisations, I have seen it demonstrated in Turner & Townsend more so than any of our competitors.
Q. How do you see the business developing over the next five years?
A. The business has invested heavily in digital transformation. Clients are continuously expecting more for less from consultants and Turner & Townsend has proactively invested to meet this demand. A lot of tasks that were labour intensive will become automated, leaving more time to analyse outputs and provide analytics reports to our clients.
Q. How do you contribute to Turner & Townsend making a difference?
A. My main contribution has been setting up an office in Stockholm, Sweden at the age of 27, and now growing that business. Additionally, I am the EMEA Key Account Manager for Microsoft, providing service consistency to one of our key real estate clients.
