Global professional services firm Turner & Townsend has been appointed to provide cost management advisory services for the City Rail Link project in Auckland.
City Rail Link is the largest transport infrastructure project ever undertaken in New Zealand. Ross Dunkerley, Regional Director for Turner & Townsend New Zealand, comments: “Upon its completion in 2024, City Rail Link will double Auckland’s rail capacity and improve travel times for the entire transport network. It represents a significant enhancement and modernisation of the city’s urban framework. We are very proud to play our part in City Rail Link which will enrich the lives of so many in Auckland.
“The City Rail Link project represents an exciting opportunity for us as our Auckland office continues to grow. We will be applying both local and international best practice expertise to ensure it is a legacy project for New Zealand.”
City Rail Link will provide the capacity to manage 54,000 passengers an hour at peak travel times.
