The Jewel on the Gold Coast opens at Australia’s premier tourist destination

Stretching 130 metres of absolute beach frontage, the innovative five-star Green Star complex on the beach front is Australia’s largest hotel and residential complex. The three towers feature 510 residential apartments, the 169-room five-star Langham Gold Coast hotel, restaurants, conferences and meeting facilities.

We assembled a highly experienced project management team and embedded it to work side-by-side with the client to manage all stages of this major project. We guided and advised AW Jewel Pty Ltd through the initial design and planning approval stages, the tender stage for the engagement of building contractors, and the detailed design and construction phases.

At its peak, the project involved more than 1,000 construction personnel on-site and a monthly spend of AU$30m, creating sustained employment for local consultants and contractors as well as substantial business and economic benefits for local, intra-state, inter-state and overseas suppliers, businesses and contractors. Now complete, the project is expected to employ more than 300 people directly as well as provide a substantial boost to the Gold Coast economy.
