Number 1 in the Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250

We have been named in first position within the Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250.

Compiled by Fast Track and published in the Sunday Times on 27 September, the PwC Top Track 250 league table ranks Britain's leading mid-market private companies with the biggest sales.

Our number one ranking reflects the strong performance of the business in the year ending 30 April 2020. Across real estate, infrastructure and natural resources, we achieved a turnover of £744m despite the impact of COVID-19 on the last quarter across global markets.

We ranked fifth in the Top Track 250 last year, after entering the Top 20 for the first time in 2018.

Vincent Clancy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said:

"Being ranked number one is a real milestone moment for us, particularly as we approach our 75th year.

Achieving this while facing the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is down to the calibre of our people, the resilience of our model and the steadfast relationships we have built with our clients.

"In 2020 and beyond we have a huge task in ensuring that UK plc recovers quickly, reinvigorating the economy while addressing the social inequalities exacerbated by the pandemic.

Construction is one of the key enablers of growth and our business is primed to help the country build back better.

"Our global reach is now fundamental to our business. It allows us to export our expertise to new regions, offer exceptional opportunities to our team and to learn from others in new markets.
