New global capital projects expert joins our Americas Board of Directors
Industry leader Tim McManus has joined our Americas Board of Directors to help shape North America growth priorities.
Tim brings more than 40 years of professional services experience and is recognised as an expert on the development and delivery of global capital projects and programmes.
His appointment comes at a pivotal moment in the company’s North America expansion, as significant business growth is positioning for new opportunities, deeper client engagements and more complex commissions. Globally, we have experienced nine years of consistent growth, with 2018/19 marking a record year - growing revenues by 15.8 percent. With growth in North America a top priority, the firm looks to double its business in the region by 2025.
“Tim joins the Americas Board at an exciting time,” says Murray Rowden, Regional Managing Director, Americas & Global Head of Infrastructure. “With unmatched expertise in the development of mega projects and programs for both the public and private sectors, we are confident that Tim’s insight will provide a valuable perspective as we continue to drive our North America growth strategy forward. We look forward to benefitting from his judgment and counsel.”
In addition to the Americas Board, Tim will also serve on the North America Programme Advisory Steering Group and Infrastructure Board.
A trusted advisor to governments and leading companies, Tim has been engaged in some of the most notable infrastructure projects across the globe. Most recently, he served as a Vice President and Client Development Advisor at McKinsey & Company, where he was focusing on the development, financing, contracting, and delivery of infrastructure-focused capital programs.
Previously, as Senior Vice President and Director of Global Program Management for AECOM, he provided leadership for major projects including the National Infrastructure Program for Libya, Crossrail in the UK, and Hurricane Sandy Recovery, and was involved in various sports projects including the London 2012 Olympics, the new Yankee Stadium and others.
As the Program Director for the New England Patriots, he led the development and delivery of Gillette Stadium. He also held key roles for EY in their Construction Consulting Practice, PMA Consultants, and Exxon’s International Project Management Group.
“Turner & Townsend leads the way in defining industry excellence. As such, my decision to join the Americas Board of Directors carries great meaning for me,” says Tim McManus, Director, Americas at Turner & Townsend.
“I look forward to contributing my particular expertise to this distinguished group as, together, we help shape its business priorities in North America.”
