Honoured for supporting the UK Armed Forces

We have been recognised with a silver award by the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

Acknowledging organisations who actively demonstrate support to the Armed Forces Community, we received the award alongside 33 other businesses that have significant operations in the Greater London area.

The award recognises employers delivering forces-friendly initiatives in the workplace, including employing Veterans and supporting Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers by providing at least five days additional paid/unpaid leave.

The ERS award follows our signing of the Armed Forces Covenant in October 2018, committing us to being a ‘forces friendly’ employer. This means helping retired members of the Armed Forces to integrate into the civilian workforce where their hugely valuable and varied talents can make a significant contribution to business. It extends also to supporting Reservists, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers and the partners of serving members of the Armed Forces.

Ed Robinson, Director, Defence Sector Lead and Chair for our Military network said:

We have made a firm commitment to being a ‘forces friendly employer’ and are delighted to receive this recognition. Members of the Armed Forces Community have a wealth of relevant experience to bring to business and we keenly support this rich source of talent.
