Darren Munton appointed to lead our Australia and New Zealand business

We have appointed Darren Munton as Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) to support our future growth and ambitions in key target sectors.

Darren has been with the business for 15 years and has held senior positions in the real estate sector before serving as Head of Infrastructure, Australia and New Zealand. During this time, he has supported the delivery of major projects and programmes, including Sydney Metro and Inland Rail.

Darren takes over the leadership of the ANZ business from Anooj Oodit who becomes Managing Director, the Americas. Director and major programmes specialist Alan King will assume the role of Head of Infrastructure, Australia and New Zealand.

Our firm has been operating in the region for more than 30 years and now encompasses over 1,250 people across 13 offices, providing cost management, project management, programme management and advisory services to clients in the real estate, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

Darren Munton, Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, comments:

After 15 years helping to grow and diversify our business in Australia and New Zealand, I am delighted to be leading a team who are passionate about delivering impactful projects and programmes.

"As our industry continues to navigate complex market conditions, from skills shortages to rising costs and supply chain disruption, we are well placed to help our clients realise the social, environmental and economic objectives for their projects, and reinforce Turner & Townsend’s position as the premier consultancy in our field."
