Competition: call for entries - Disrupting Real Estate
The technology boom is fundamentally changing the way we do things in life, for example food at the click of a button. With the rise of prop-tech companies, mountains of data available and increasing advances in the automation of tasks, it’s time for the next generation to help our industry to seize opportunities to embrace change and drive innovation.
Join the revolution!
We are seeking innovative new ideas that could become the next big transformers of the real estate and construction industry. We want entrants to challenge how our industry currently operates and suggest fundamental innovations that could raise standards in construction, improve productivity, safety, efficiency or sustainability. For example, you may have an idea of how to address the evolution of work/life integration, or to drastically reduce the wastage in construction with a new way of building. Perhaps an innovation that has worked well in other industries.
The winner/winning team will be given the platform to help influence industry leaders over dinner at a top London restaurant and will win £1,000.
We encourage entrants to think creatively, with entries welcome on any subjects that directly affect real estate and the wider construction industry.
Submit no more than two A4 pages (submitted as a PDF or word file) by midnight on 10 January 2019, to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Include in your submission:
- A description of your big idea
- An overview of three key positive impacts this could have on the future of real estate and construction
- Details about how the idea would be realised/implemented
- Any examples of other industries where this idea is working well
- A short biography about yourself or your team and your career to date
Shortlisted entrants will be invited to present their idea at the ‘Generation for Change’ Real Estate Conference on 24 January 2019, to be held at our London office:
