Camille Sevestre wins ‘Future Leader of the Year’ award
Congratulations to Camille Sevestre from our Sydney office who won the ‘Future Leader of the Year’ at the New South Wales (NSW) National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Awards for Excellence.
Since joining our business in 2017, Camille has endeavoured to train and mentor colleagues in an effort to help them reach their full potential and achieve the best results for their clients. Last year she led our New South Wales ‘Your Professional Future’ (YPF) committee, which aims to connect, develop and enable future industry leaders and this year was selected to be a member of the Property Council of Australia’s 500 Women in Property programme.
Camille believed winning the award was a great honour. In her acceptance speech, she was grateful for the support she has within our business. She said:
“It has been a remarkable few years working as part of the education team and so gratifying to see how our work has contributed to making an impact on communities in NSW.”
She was also pleased to be recognised for her contribution to our company’s agenda for greater diversity in the construction industry.
Anooj Oodit, Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand said:
“Camille’s recognition as Future Leader of the Year is a testament to her ability to provide a diverse perspective in the identification of solutions to complex projects and thriving successful delivery. Her involvement in significant education projects in New South Wales has facilitated positive change. I’m excited to see her develop into a future leader within our industry.”
The NAWIC Awards for Excellence celebrate the contributions made by women at all levels and in all sectors of the construction industry.
