Affirming our commitment to Women in Defence
We have signed the Women in Defence charter affirming our commitment to support the progression of women to senior roles in the defence sector.
Launched by UK Minister for Defence Procurement, Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP, at DSEI 2019 in London this week, the charter is a collaboration between the UK Ministry of Defence, Women in Defence UK, ADS, Defence Growth Partnership and companies involved in the defence sector.
The charter commits us to improving the gender balance across our business and to help women succeed at all levels, which we are already championing through initiatives such as our women returners programme. By signing the charter we will also be enabling women to thrive, enhancing their individual and collective impact in the defence sector.
Ed Robinson Director and head of defence said:
“We are committed to gender equality both within our company and the industries we work. We are proud to be signing the charter and joining others to champion this important issue.”
