UK
We're driving change as a key enabler for economic recovery.
The UK faces a complex set of challenges encompassing post-COVID and Brexit related economic uncertainty, deep-rooted regional inequalities, an ongoing housing crisis and an ever-pressing climate emergency.
The role of construction and real estate sector in addressing these areas is more important than ever. With its dynamism and constantly evolving ideas on environments, sustainability, technology, architecture and social impact, it is a key enabler and agent for change.
Making the difference in the UK
With over 2,900 employees in the UK, working from 18 offices across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, we support clients across sectors, including on some of the country’s most challenging infrastructure, building and regeneration programmes.
Our work includes many of the industry's highest-profile projects and programmes, including next-generation supplier arrangements with the Environment Agency, transforming how the British Antarctic Survey supports frontier climate change and project management for the award-winning V&A Dundee.
As well as supporting the successful inception and build of large scale projects, our UK team has significant involvement in property portfolio management for both global corporations and public sector organisations. We also lead in the use of data analysis and 5D business information modelling, helping drive cost-saving efficiencies and support highly informed decision-making about the current and future use of properties.
Every organisation faces routine and often increasing pressure to secure greater value and better strategic alignment from its property portfolio. We work with our clients to create effective estate strategies (PDF) that deliver wide-ranging benefits. These include reducing operating and maintenance costs, focusing on value for money through improved space utilisation to release funds from surplus estate, prioritising the business as usual activities and identifying efficiency opportunities.
Beginning our digital transformation programme in 2018, we have invested in structured data technology, training and capability – building a powerful suite of bespoke tools that link to a centralised platform. The digital tools give our clients real-time access to a rich stream of data about every aspect of their programmes and are already driving greater contractor productivity, boosting client certainty and delivering better outcomes.
