Our goal is to deliver a robust, digitally-enabled and data-driven cost management service to drive value for our clients.
I started my career in 2018 as a site-based Quantity Surveyor for a contracting firm, focusing on large-scale infrastructure, commercial and luxury hotel projects in Mauritius. The cost and commercial management skillset gained in this fast-paced environment supported me to achieve Chartered status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in 2020.
I joined Turner & Townsend in 2021, after relocating to Paris. In addition to being bilingual, my contracting experience with international forms of contracts gave me a strong foundation while I adapted to the local French market.
A. Since joining Turner & Townsend as a Cost Manager, I've led the cost management delivery on several large-scale projects for key clients. The experience has been incredibly rewarding. The French market is challenging to navigate and successfully delivering projects fuels me to further increase our market presence and deliver our cost management services to both local and international clients.
A. My involvement on a project with a global tech firm in Paris remains my most memorable experience to date. In addition to the technical complexity of the project and the rigorous cost management requirements, it involved international stakeholders which highlighted the importance of managing intercultural teams and their expectations.
A. I’m passionate about mentoring, with a focus on women in construction. As an RICS counsellor, I actively support Cost Managers who want to achieve RICS chartered status.
I’ve also rolled out RICS training to equip our local Cost Managers with the knowledge and confidence to support our international clients locally.
A. My background in Quantity Surveying and my RICS chartered status have supported me to provide a strong, digitally-enabled and data-driven cost management service offering to create value for our clients.
I also have a keen interest in AI and digital transformation.
A. We’ve seen how it’s becoming essential to build resilient delivery models to navigate volatile markets. Expert knowledge and experience are key drivers behind decision making to best prepare for this new reality.
A. Our combination with CBRE’s Project Management business has increased our global reach allowing us to better support our clients throughout their entire project lifecyle. It’s a very exciting time to be a Cost Manager at Turner & Townsend and I see a lot of opportunity for continued growth.
