-> Civil Engineering/Infrastructure
The Civil Engineering sector has also seen rapid expansion
fuelled by the funds committed to the upgrading and improving
of our infrastructure under the National Development Plan.
A large proportion of these funds has been committed to
the upgrading of the Roads network but a very significant
proportion has also been provided for the upgrading of our
water and waste management network.
This commitment whilst badly needed has received unparalleled
media attention due to the constant stories of over runs
and delays in completing the projects; however, the horror
stories have overshadowed the many success stories and when
completed our road, water and waste management networks
will be the envy of Europe.
Healy Kelly Turner & Townsend has been heavily involved in the Civil Engineering/Infrastructure
sector from our involvement in the development of Foynes
Port right up to our current involvement in the Ballymun
Regeneration project.
The success of civil engineering/infrastructure projects
lies in developing an understanding of the processes and
specialisations involved in the process, ensuring that everyone
is aware of their responsibilities and placing the risk
items with the party best placed to deal with them.
Some examples of our Civil Engineering/Infrastructure experience
includes:
- Ballymun Regeneration Limited; redevelopment of main
thoroughfares, upgrading services infrastructure
