One culture: we have supported Heathrow Airport Ltd (HAL, formerly BAA) for 20 years, working seamlessly as part of a co-located and integrated project team for much of that time
Real-time visibility of costs, progress and performance was provided through regular audits and cost verifications. Early identification and reporting on potential problems, together with effective and targeted supply chain collaboration, provided HAL with the confidence to take action
Optimising investment: our systems, culture, ‘can-do’ approach and flexibility are fully aligned with safety, security and sustainability goals
Operational readiness: a six-month transition phase enabled a coordinated programme of recruitment, training and trials across all of HAL’s key operational workstreams, as well as robust performance monitoring of the many stakeholders involved in the preparation for opening and beyond
Lessons captured will be applied during the next five-year investment period; we have been appointed as sole provider of cost management, commercial and project controls services for this phase
