Turner & Townsend plants seasonal card cost into charitable donation
This holiday season Turner & Townsend has decided to donate the money that would otherwise go to designing and sending seasonal cards to charities around the world.
By doing this, we support our ambition to make the difference to children and young people around the world.
This year we are delighted to announce that £15,000 will be donated to eight charities chosen by colleagues in each of our regions:
North America - Children's Defense Fund
Championing policies and programmes that lift children out of poverty and ensure they have access to health care and education.
Latin America - Save the Children
Giving children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.
UK and Ireland - Action for Children
Helping vulnerable and neglected children, young people, and their families.
Europe - Doctors without Borders
Delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care
Africa - SOS Children's Villages
Preventing family breakdown and providing care for children who have lost parental care, or who risk losing it
Middle East - Omani Bahjah Orphan Society
Inspiring hope, fighting poverty and promoting charitable work to care for orphans and people in need.
Asia - UNICEF
Operating in 190 countries, UNICEF provides humanitarian and development assistance to children in danger.
Australia - Youth off the Street
Supporting disadvantaged young people as they work to turn their lives around and overcome homelessness, drug abuse and abuse.
In the New Year, we will launch the second phase of our community pledge campaign and ask our teams to make a personal commitment to contribute to their community.
