Turner & Townsend achieves quality certification for service excellence
Turner & Townsend has achieved a key certification from BSI (British Standards Institution), in recognition of the business’ service delivery in optimising the performance of major projects and programmes in infrastructure, real estate and natural resources.
The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard certification follows a successful programme of audits around the firm’s operational processes.
The certificate was presented to Graham Taylor, partner at Turner & Townsend, by Anne Scorey, UK Managing Director at BSI, at a ceremony in Milton Keynes, UK.
Graham Taylor explains: “The 2015 update to ISO 9001 includes identifying and providing a systematic approach to quality management, business planning and risk – essential to predicting and guaranteeing the performance of the programmes we deliver. The certification gives clients visibility of what we do; emphasises the importance of quality management across our entire organisation’s processes and systems and reflects the high standards we achieve as a leading professional services consultancy.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification recognises our efforts in improving the way we operate, at all levels, and to provide quality service and products to our clients. We have held ISO certification since 1992 and we remain committed to meeting its standards to continuously improve client satisfaction.
Tania Murray, UK Head of Client Propositions at BSI said: “The importance of achieving, maintaining and improving quality is vital for businesses, and the 2015 version of ISO 9001 ensures that with higher expectations on organizations and more complex supply chains, businesses can be assured that their products and services remain competitive globally. Turner & Townsend should be delighted that it has achieved this certification ahead of the deadline.”
