Successful client event hosted in Amsterdam
In May, we invited our clients to our annual client event in the Netherlands. The business seminar on ‘innovation’ was kindly hosted by BMW in their new showroom facilities in Amsterdam.
The showroom, which we helped to deliver, provided a brilliant venue for the event.
Around the theme ‘innovation’ we had three presentations from very different industry angles.
Reinier Mutsaerts, director of BMW Amsterdam, talked about the BMW showroom concept and their innovative i-series. Albert Fokkens from Philips Lighting presented on their adaptive lighting system and explained how it works in practice, with the example of a recently delivered building, The Edge in Amsterdam. Neil Bullen, global head of major programmes, then showcased our real estate knowledge and presented the ‘Delivery of Global Real Estate, time for change’ on innovative delivery models.
Approximately 90 clients, guests and Turner & Townsend staff enjoyed the presentations in the spectacular showroom and afterwards had the opportunity to discuss the presentations and to network, while enjoying some food and drinks.
Marvin Vos, Director, Netherlands Property & Infrastructure, commented on the event: “This was a new and successful way of organising a client event, hosted by one of our clients in a great location. The interaction between clients, relations and colleagues was enhanced by the appealing theme and the informal setting.“
