Appointed by Vicinity Centres to manage the retail delivery of its AUD350 million redevelopment at Chadstone Shopping Centre
Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne is undergoing a massive facelift with a AUD350 million redevelopment project. We have been appointed by Vicinity Centres to project manage delivery of the new tenancies.
The redevelopment will increase the centre’s circulation by 25,000 sq m and further expand one of Australia’s largest and premier shopping destinations. Approximately 570 stores will feature in the vibrant retail centre when the work is completed.

“Three of its flagship tenancies including H&M, Zara and Uniqlo, plus two mini major tenancies - Rebel and JBHiFi will be managed by our tenancy delivery team. This redevelopment will further enrich Chadstone Shopping Centre as a distinctive and unrivalled retail and community destination.”
The redevelopment will create a new entertainment precinct which includes a state-of-the-art Hoyts digital cinema complex with 13 screens; a revitalised west mall with luxury and international fashion flagship retailers and a new Target store. Forty new retailers are included in the redevelopment plans further expanding on Chadstone’s incomparable retail offer.
Chadstone Shopping Centre’s expansion is due for completion in mid 2017, with the first stage set to open in late October 2016.
This is our second major shopping centre project in Melbourne within the last 12 months. We were also appointed to project manage the $665 million expansion of Eastland Shopping Centre in Ringwood, Melbourne. Stage one opened in October 2015 and stage two opened in May 2016.
