Is there a future for the traditional office?

The way we work is changing. Technology is making the workforce more mobile, agile and collaborative and companies are looking for office environments which will support this new way of working.

With the increasing popularity of co-working and growing uncertainty of base build office investment, it is apparent that the office environment is in an important era of change.

Working together, the team from Turner & Townsend, Perkins+Will and Hilson Moran have researched and developed what the future office environment might look like. In our collaborative research project we started an exciting conversation that we believe is important to continue. We welcome you to join us in this roundtable discussion.

The event will cover:

  • Will there still be a need for a traditional office environment?
  • Co-working: ‘here to stay’ or ‘gone tomorrow’?
  • How technology really can be the driving force for change
  • Will the circular economy be adopted across the built environment?
  • Designing a place, not a building.

If you wish to learn more about the event, or to attend, please email Sally Marshall before 13 November.
