The UK market continues to be directly affected by economic uncertainties in Europe. Consumer confidence in the UK is on the decline and economic ambiguity, coupled with public sector cuts, is not helping to stimulate private sector activity. Construction prospects for 2012 look increasingly challenging, and as we look ahead to the new year we ask the question - when will the winter thaw?
