Building Awards Finals 2010

Turner & Townsend is a finalist in the prestigious 2010 Building Awards in three major categories it was revealed at the end of last week.

Building magazine announced that Turner & Townsend has been successfully shortlisted in the categories of ‘Construction Consultant/Surveyor of the Year (over 100 staff)’ and ‘Project/ Construction Management Firm of the Year’.

The company has also been recognised in the category of ‘Integrated Supply Chain of the Year’ for developing a supply chain for the Buying Solutions framework over the past 10 years.
Turner & Townsend has played a significant role in the successful completion of two of the projects to reach the finals of these awards. Darwin Centre Phase 2, The Natural History Museum, London has been shortlisted in the category of Building magazine Project of the Year and the Art & Design Academy, Liverpool John Moores University in the category of Public Building Project of the Year.

Established by Building magazine, the Building Awards recognise the construction industry’s top performers and despite very tough trading conditions Building has reported that it received a record number of high-quality entries in 2010.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 22 April 2010 at an award ceremony to be held at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
