Turner & Townsend announce role in water and airport projects in Oman

We are pleased to announce that we have recently delivered value engineering services on behalf of Associated Consulting Engineers (International) as part of their design role delivering Muscat city’s new sewerage network. 

This first phase of the project covered the country’s Bausher region and marks a significant stage in Haya Water’s ambitious wastewater infrastructure upgrade programme.

As value managers for the project, Turner & Townsend provided cost analysis and a review of the final design, building upon its value engineering services in the earlier design phases and involvement as pre-contract cost managers.

The newly established Oman office has also been awarded the programme management contract by Ultra Electronics to support the delivery of operational and security systems and the full suite of IT networks required for the on-going development of Muscat International and Salalah airports.
