Associate Director Matt Gurney joins the RICS board in Qatar

Turner & Townsend Associate Director Matt Gurney has been elected to the RICS board in Qatar. Matt joins former Turner & Townsend alumnus Abdulazis Al-Mulla, now of Lusail Real Estate Development Co. and the first Qatari to reach MRICS status and sit on the board.

The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) provides the world's leading professional qualification in land, property and construction, as well as setting and regulating the highest standards of competence and integrity among its members in the industry. As a RICS board member for Qatar Matt will be consulting on regulation as well as providing impartial, authoritative advice on the key issues facing the sector.

Mr Gurney’s appointment further confirms Turner & Townsend’s reputation for excellence in the region, following the appointment of Senior Contracts Manager, Stephen Lines as President of the Chartered Institute of Building in the Middle East and as an adviser to the British University in Dubai last year.
